Dear ACT Coaches,

It is with great pleasure that I can announce a new CACTI Coach initiative:

The CACTI Coach Network Rep Team Elite Coach Mentor Program

The CACTI Mentor program has three broad aims:

- To support the education and training of ACT coaches at the elite National level
- To provide a range of mentoring options including hands on and face-to-face elite mentor coaching to ACT Rep Team coaches
- To raise the profile and prestige of ACT Rep Team Coaching positions.
 
The program will be officially launched at the August CACTI Coaches Forum (Friday August 20, 6 to 8pm, Weston Club).  The launch will include presentations and round table discussions from the highly experienced and esteemed ACT coaches who have agreed to be part of the Mentor Program, as well as some of our fabulous 2010 ACT Rep Coaches and Assistant Coaches.  These coaches have all successfully taken on a CACTI Rep Team and they are prepared to offer us their personal insight into the expectations, challenges, and rewards of the coaching job - ideas on what it takes to make a successful Rep Team Coach - and what you can get out of the Rep Team experience.

It has therefore been decided to extend the CACTI REP Team Coach Application deadline to WEDNESDAY 25 AUGUST, 2010, so that coaches who are thinking of applying can come along to the forum and ask questions of the mentor coaches and take part in the discussion.
